After meditation, my eyes are relaxed and I am calm

For the past 8 years, I have been wearing glasses for long-sightedness and my eyesight has deteriorated with my degrees increasing from 100 to 300. Just before the class, I needed to strain my eyes to read with my existing pair of glasses. Therefore, I suspected that my eyesight has worsened and that I might have to be prescribed a new pair of glasses.

I am interested in meditation and have been doing self-learning but have yet to attend formal classes. When I came across a post of the Stress Relief Meditation Class on Bodhi Meditation’s Facebook, I decided to sign up for it.

Towards the end of the class, I realised that my eyes felt relaxed and comfortable and no straining was needed. I am glad that I need not change my glasses.

I have been working in the advertising industry and constantly involved in projects with pressurizing deadlines to meet. I used to be anxious and quick-tempered but meditation has eased my mind and calmed me down. I particularly like one of the meditation methodologies “The Meditation of Purity” which is soothing and tranquil. Back at work, I am better at maintaining my composure in stressful situations and can make better decisions. I will definitely continue my meditation practice going forward!
