就在2018年3、4月的时候，我拿到了一本“禅修与健康”的杂志。我看到杂志里头有很多受益的见证，便决定来上健身班。在7月份的健身班里，也有介绍到八卦内功。就这样，在2018年9月份，我开始在Jurong Link Canopy学习八卦内功。2 – 3个月之后，我发现自己走路不再有停顿的状况，已经可以像以前一样，迈开脚步像正常人一般走路，这让我很开心。

In 2017, I discovered he had slip disc condition. I back was often in intense pain and he had to depend on painkillers to ease the pain.Eventually, I decided to undergo operation in November 2017.
The operation for my slip disc condition was a successful one. However, there was a mistake made during this operation which inadvertently damaged my nerves. Since then, I was unable to walk in a natural manner. The soles of my feet felt numb and I was unable to take big steps. I also had to pause with every step and I appeared as though I was limping whenever I walked.
Under such circumstances, not only was my mobility affected, I also could not walk for more than half a kilo meter. For a person who used to love walks in nature, I was badly affected.The decision to travel overseas had also become a tough one to make, as I was in a dilemma over whether I had to walk long distances or if I would be inconveniencing people around me.Despite going for physiotherapy sessions facilitated by the hospital, my condition was without much improvement. I eventually learnt to accept the incident during the operation, but as I was no longer able to go for my nature walks, inevitably, I felt lost and sad. Gradually, I also stopped travelling.
In March or April 2018, I got hold of a copy of “Meditation and Health” magazine. I read the testimonials and decided to attend the Health and Happiness Retreat. At the July 2018 retreat,I was introduced to Energy Bagua. I began walking Energy Bagua at Jurong Link Canopy in September 2018. Within a span of 2 to 3 months, I realised that I no longer paused while walking. I can walk like a normal person in the same way as before, which made me very happy!
Not only can walk naturally now, I can even walk for 4 kilometer with any problems! Of course, I can continue with the nature walks that I loves, and occasionally travels with my family overseas!
