禅修让我“瘦”益良多,心平气和! Meditation brings me multiple gains: I’ve lost weight & found inner peace!

我是在2014年接触菩提禅修。当时我不是为了減肥而来,而是对心灵的提升这方面感兴趣。学习“大礼拜”后,我的体重竟然在六个月的修练内下降了10公斤,真是令我乐不可支!

早在十多年前,医生就说我超重。我尝试过许多减肥方法,比如吃减肥药,做瑜伽,跑步,去瘦身中心泡桑拿浴,甚至不吃午餐只喝减肥咖啡。可惜的是,我所获得的效果都不理想,体重只减了一两公斤,不久又回弹了。绝食减肥还导致我身体虚弱,肤色暗淡。

我是在2014年接触菩提禅修。当时我不是为了減肥而来,而是对心灵的提升这方面感兴趣。学习“大礼拜”后,我的体重竟然在六个月的修练内下降了10公斤,真是令我乐不可支!从此我爱上大礼拜,天天一定会修练,绝不放弃!过去三年,我的体重维持在标准范围内,再也不必为减肥而烦恼。我的皮肤变得有光泽,无需再服食胶原蛋白。我不用化妆,只涂个口红就够亮丽,朋友们看到我容光焕发,都很好奇。

在过去的三、四十年,我一天只能睡上两三个小时。2015年我开始走八卦后,每晚就能深睡大约十个小时,黑眼圈渐渐变淡了。

自从禅修以后,我变得更平静。家人若大声跟我说话,我不会像以往那样喊回去,而是能心平气和地与他们沟通。我觉得我的家人更加团结了,大家都相处得乐融融。现已69岁的我,不仅身体健康、精神充沛,也感觉年轻快乐!我已介绍了几位朋友来菩提禅修,希望他们也能像我一样坚持修练,并体验到禅修的益处。

More than 10 years ago, my doctor said I was overweight. I made multiple attempts to lose weight. For instance, eating diet pills, doing yoga, jogging, sauna baths in slimming centres and replacing lunch with slimming coffee. Unfortunately, these were not effective. My weight only dropped by one to two kilos and I would regain the lost weight quickly. Dieting also weakened my body’s constitution and caused my skin to become dull.

In 2014, I came to know about Bodhi Meditation. Back then, my purpose was not to lose weight but to achieve spiritual elevation. However after learning the “Full Prostration”, my weight dropped by 10 kilos within 6 months of daily practice. This made me extremely happy! Since then, I fell in love with prostration and would practice diligently everyday.

For the past 3 years, my weight has remained in the healthy range and I no longer feel troubled over the need to lose weight. I look more radiant and need not rely on collagen supplements to tone up my skin. Now I look good even without makeup and can leave the house simply with just having lipstick on. My friends are very curious about my transformation.

Besides, for the last 30 to 40 years, I could only sleep two to three hours each night. Since I started practicing Energy Bagua in 2015, I can sleep well for 10 hours every night. Gradually my dark eye circles lightened.

Since meditating, I feel more at peace. Even when my family members raise their voice at me, I will still speak to them in a calm manner. My family has since become more cohesive and harmonious. Although I am 69 years old, I feel young mentally. I am healthy, energetic and happy! I introduced a few friends to Bodhi Meditation hoping that they will persevere in their practice and experience for themselves the benefits of meditation.
